Jelly Bean leaks for Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S3

5

Just can’t wait for the official Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 to come barreling down the pipeline? If you are the owner of Samsung’s flagship smartphone on Sprint’s network, you can take Android 4.1 for a spin now. The official update has leaked for the carrier’s SPH-L710 by way of XDA Forums complete with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz interface. This the JRO03L build of Jelly Bean, Android 4.1.1.

As would be expected, the folks at XDA have already created a few variants on the ROM, including Odex and DeOdexed versions while adding in root access by default. This doesn’t appear to be a final build, as users have reported issues with the stock browser, Google Now, and the phone’s gyroscope sensor. Head on over to the source link below for more details and download links.

  1. It’s pretty stable though, been running it since Saturday night when it leaked. Put it through all my normal paces and have yet to really find any bugs that affect me. Contact storage is a bit wonky and the notification bar is greyish and not flat black. Lots of improvement to be made I’m sure, but JB on the SGS3 just screams. Not placebo effect either. Didn’t think it could get faster. They have improved bit rates on the camera as well.

  2. Come on VZW leak. LOL

  3. Was runnning the port to the VZW S3 last night. everything was perfect except landscape was always upside down. lol

  4. Anyone know when T-Mobile gets the update ….I had jelly bran on Gnex and loved it ….on the gs3 will be amazing

    1. I believe T-Mobile’s was the first to get a leak in the U.S. Some devs ported a copy over to the Sprint GS3.
