The bad news is that rumors of a quad-core upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 didn’t pan out. The good news is that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is now up for pre-order. Office Depot has the slate, which still features a dual-core processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, priced at $399.99 along with free delivery. The Tab 2 10.1 is set to ship on May 11th, according to the order page. The perfect companion to the newly announced Galaxy S III? We’d say so.

So how is thing better than my Xoom?
Google.
I still believe the TF300 by ASUS is a better deal
I assume still a tegra 2?
To answer the question on how its better than the xoom, its simple. This is only $400 and ur xoom launched at 800, plus id bet cool 50 they didnt use the teg2 again.
Why would I waste my money buying a tablet that has the same specs as my phone?
Because its still one of the best tab’s for the money. I love the move Samsung made to allow 64GB of internal. That means that theoretically u could get a 64gb SD and have basically 128GB….that is a shit load. Could probably Download every one of the half million apps to one phone lol
