Amazon App of the Day is Documents to Go [$15 Value]

8

Amazon is offering another App of the Day – as they do everyday – and it’s another office suite application. Documents to Go is a $15 suite that gives you the tools you need to edit and view Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents. Password protection, Google Docs integration, PDF reading capabilities and more round out the experience. For $0, you can’t go wrong even if you did download OfficeSuite when it was free. Find it at Amazon here. [Note]: You’ll need Docs to Go 3.0 Main App as this download is for the unlock key.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. The Amazon App Store kicks ass.

Now I have all the major office apps (quickoffice, officesuite, and this) free courtesy of Amazon.

    1. Yeah, but which one is the best? Everyone has their own opinion, but like any category in anything in life, each product seem to get a few things right but none of them get everything correct.

      1. I’m not sure. However, being able to figure it out for free is great!

      2. In Docs to Go. I use Google Docs, and I have them organized by Date Modified Online. Docs to Go, you can’t organize them like that, so I can’t find what I’m looking for. I don’t remember what I name them, I don’t pay attention. There just my notes for class.

That leaves OpenOffice and Quick Office.
I like Open Office because of the GUI. But Quick Office now has the ability to link to online networks. Hmm… I might just use Quick Office for Resumes.

  2. it’s probably better to download the actual app via Android Market because it’s more likely to get continuous updates. so long as the key is downloaded, it doesn’t matter where you get the full app

  3. What’s better? Quick Office or this?

  4. Actually, even with ll of these FAOD Office suites I still very much prefer Polaris Office that came with my ASUS Transformer. I use Polaris more than any of the others. Another reason to absolutely love my Transformer!

  5. Does anyone else like me just take these free apps of the day just because they’re free? Especially if it’s a $10-15 app? Most of the time I don’t even actually install them to my phone or tablet. It’s just nice knowing that if I ever want to try it out or need it I can. Amazon runs such a great service…
