The LG Optimus 3D will be landing in the UK on July 7th, per a statement issued earlier today. The device will be sold exclusively through Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy with pricing as low as free with a contract priced at £35 per month. The Optimus 3D is one of a growing number of handsets relying on glasses-free 3D technology to create a new level of immersive interaction with today’s smartphones. We get the feeling that most looking to purchase the handset will figure 3D as an afterthought, as the hardware is top-notch with or without the gimmick. Dual-core processor, dual-channel RAM, and a 4.3-inch display make quite the phone. You can find it for pre-order at Carphone Warehouse’s site now.

I love British contract pricing. I got a gs2 free with a 25 pound a month contract :) Americans get seriously ripped off
Not only do we get ripped off, but we also blame the manufacturer for not getting updates that the rest of the world got months ago and fail to see that it is THE CARRIER duping us instead. Oh yeah, we also pay $200 USD on average for something that is practically (or is) free else where and try to blame the manufacturer for how expensive the phones are…And to top it all off, we will probably blame the manufacturer for our devices having to use so much data that our POOR CARRIERS have to charge us even more just to use them on their networks!
But we are Americans and we take pride in OUR CARRIERS and we just absolutely LOVE to be over charged so we can blame EVERYTHING on the manufacturer…
/sarcasm and rant off
PS – Yes, I am ‘American’ or should I say, a citizen of the United States of America.
The thing is Verizon isn’t an American company its majority owned by vodafone a British company
Please, SeanDavies, for the love of God. Please let me wallow in my own ignorance…
Thank you,
The American People…
=D
Ignorance is bliss
i second that!
