16

We’ve already seen a test build of the Gingerbread ROM that’s soon to be headed to T-Mobile G2 customers, but 911Sniper has leaked yet another. And this time, it looks to be a final, stable build. ROM makers are going to want to get their hands on this one right away, but for those of you who don’t fancy doing that sort of stuff today’s leak suggests T-Mobile is just bout ready to roll this out to users. Let’s hope to hear official word about it from them sometime soon. Download link is here.

  1. Yet we’ve yet to see an official leak for G2x a phone that was built for it

    1. Neither Froyo or Gingerbread have been optimized for dual-core processors (something google said Ice Cream Sandwich will do) so how was the G2x built for Gingerbread?

      1. I understood that Ice Cream will be allowing single-core phones to run dual-core apps, from a previous announcement by Google.

Given that Ice Cream will rendezvous GB and HC, I agree that dual-core will be there, but is it correct that it will be _optimized_ for 2-cores, as you say? TIA for any info on this.

  2. I see download link.. it release as today… does this means T mobile will release OTA very soon? like today or few days? Thanks

  3. who’s going to be the first to try it out? :)

  4. I’d be more than happy to try this out, just as soon as I can translate chinese and find the correct download link.

[edit] nevermind. downloading now. I don’t know how this is going to compete with CM7…I tried that sense-3.0 port the other day and was reminded how laggy Sense is.

[also] anyone who can tell me what kernel version it’s using?

  5. Already been tried on xda. Forums and fully stock gingerbread as well revived soft bricks too
