Samsung Galaxy 551 Available For Free from Vodafone – £20.42

One of Samsung’s latest TouchWiz QWERTY-enabled Android 2.2 phones – the i5510 we heard about a few months ago – is now being carried by Vodafone in the UK for £20.42 per month. The tariff affords you 100 minutes and 250MB of data allowance. (Translation: it’s for the newbs.) The display only clocks in at 3.2 inches and has a 3 megapixel camera, and there’s really not much more to say about it – it’s another Samsung phone. Vodafone for the details. [via EuroDroid]

My father who works in telecoms is currently testing LTE running at 59MB/s in Wales. 4G will be auctioned off at the end of the year and will start to appear with the end of the digital switch over
