Madden NFL 11 Will Cost $9.99; Coming to the Android Market Q1 2011

Our friend Kyle has gotten word from EA that Madden NFL 2011 will cost $9.99 once it reaches the Android market. Users on more devices should be able to grab the game sometime in Q1 2011, but there was no other window given. Those of you on the DROID X who have installed the latest maintenance upgrade have already gotten the demo to check out and you can be stepped up to the full version for the same price. Let’s just hope this game is at least released before the Super Bowl goes down in Arlington, TX. [via The Droid Guy]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Cool ok now lets get some need for speed and the rest of all the games the iphone has been hoarding. Oh and gameloft needs to stop being a bunch of pansies and just make all of their games fully available thru the android market rather their website because those of us with custom roms can’t download them there. LETS GO PEOPLE! MOVE IT!!!

  2. What about Rock Band? It’s on the myTouch 4G, but it isn’t on the Market yet.

  3. Looks pretty dang sweet!

@Troll Overlord: I totally agree with your stance on Gameloft. I was able to trick it into letting me download Dungeon Hunter. Great game but it lacks a lot of the polish that I see in games going into the market (can’t properly utilize other phone functions without getting kicked out of the game). I think they are afraid of allowing their stuff to be rated against other content. They also most likely fear the 24 hour refund period.

  4. Isn’t the football season over at that point? FAIL

  5. @Troll Overlord: I have a custom rom and I have multiple Gameloft games on my phone. I agree that they need to offer them on the market but I don’t see why you can’t get their games if you’ve loaded a custom rom?

  6. @Rob There are still weeks of football left.

  7. Would you be able to play someone else or only play against the computer?

  8. @troll overlord: I have Need for Speed Shift on my Droid X.

Donno if its available in the market or not. It came pre-loaded.

  9. While it looks pretty decent on a 4″ screen, i’d much rather play Madden on my game console, the way nature intended it.

  10. Hey look the Broncos are even losing in the game…..interesting lol
