By After all of the successes developer Rovio’s been enjoying after their launch of Angry Birds in the Android market, other developers are looking to emulate that. The folks behind Cut the Rope – Zeptolab – have committed to creating an Android version says Dutch site AndroidPlanet, but they still have yet to give an exact date.
Translated:
“We plan to develop an Android version too, but it’s still hard to give a release date,”
And that’s all there is to say, but you should know that – since its release a couple of weeks ago – it has become one of the most popular iOS games. It reached 1-million downloads in a day – a goal many would like to achieve on new launches – and also turns out to look pretty fun. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to play it yet considering I don’t own an iOS device, but check out this video of the gameplay to get an idea of what it’s like.

Cut the rope is out for Android, but it doesn’t work on my Galaxy S
@Tequila … the only thing i can find on the market is a cut the rope live wallpaper but no game ??
On Android 2.1 I found cut the rope live wallpaper too, but on Android 2.2 I can find now the Game!!! But after installing it, there is no icon to start the game.
It’s NOT out yet, Only live wallpaper & Theme & Cheats
The only problem is I have an HTC wildfire and everytime i try to download it I have to pay. Well that’s ok for me but I don’t have a credit card so I can’t play it! I love this game!!
i really hope that this will come to android. this one, Rage and ‘unreal citadel’ are among the (very) few things i envy of the iPhone world.

I downloaded the app “Rope Cut” for my Android, which I think is the same as “Cut The Rope”??? My phone is a Galaxy S…..it works great!

In fact, it makes Angry Birds (I have the full HD version of this,too. I’ve hardly played it ever since I beat all the levels) look like a TOTAL RIPOFF.
