HTC Launching All China-Bound Android Handsets With FroYo

3

Well here’s more reassuring news for those of you skeptical that HTC’s not ready to deliver FroYo within the coming weeks. Listings for the three Android devices HTC’s delivering to China pretty soon – the HTC Wildfire, HTC Desire, and the HTC Tianyi – all say they’ll be coming preloaded with Android 2.2. To be sure that this wasn’t just a mistake, Engadget confirmed the details to be true with their insider and says that other devices will be “very soon” to follow.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. That awesome! I’m here at 2:47am and this post makes my night LOL….

on a side note…when I read HTC Tianyi…I though I read HTC tranny HAHAHAHA oh god I need to go to sleep already

  2. Now all they have to do is give us a real option to turn on and off Sense then maybe I can leave my Nexus but I really doubt they would ever do that. I don’t doubt that all Sense phones are about to be updated to Froyo since as long as it has Sense on top its not that much of an update compared to all the things that were changed on the Nexus One but what will happen when they receive Gingerbread isn’t that suppose to be a really big update.

Update is so late for marketing reasons.
