Need For Speed: Shift Preview [VIDEO]

10

The guys over at Androinica got a chance to get hands-on with EA’s upcoming Need for Speed: Shift for Android, and the initial reaction seems pretty positive. That June 4th release date announced at the EVO event? That’s not looking as good. The game is still getting its beta on while EA works out all the kinks. We still could see it launch by that date, but given that its only 2 weeks away, we’ll have to wait and see. Check out the video for yourselves:

  1. looks pretty good. i hope froyo will truly allow us to store applications on the SD or else i wont be able to install game at all

  2. the cockpit(hehe i said cock) view sold it for me!

now we need an android version of gt or forza.

  3. I was just thinking that it would look nice on a 4.3″ screen. Does anyone know of any phones coming out with that size screen?!

  4. Will the update to Froyo make the game more smooth? I saw a video of real football 2010 on the desire and it didn’t look as good as on the droid/milestone.

  5. lol jo, supposedly this game is releasing right along side with the EVO

  6. Personally I dont like when you have to tilt the phone to play, it changes your perspective and view! I prefer playing racing games with a controller of some sort. Even if they allowed on screen DPAD I’d be fine with it.

  7. I’m all for the tilt control personally. It’s very accurate and fun to use. My only issue is how you control your speed, etc.

  8. maybe the game will come pre-installed on the EVO4g

  9. This looks like the first of some amazing games on android.

  10. i played this @ Google I/O. better graphics and smoother game play than Asphalt
