Inkia inPad 701 and inPad 702 Show Up with Android

It seems each new tablet announced edges closer and closer to infringing on the iPad trademark, and these two new Inkia offerings are no exception. In fact, they straddle the line by only one letter. The inPad 701 and 702 will feature 7-inch screens, with the 702 model getting 3G capabilities. They both have Android, and that’s about all we know.

The inPad line most likely won’t see much life outside of Asia, and while Inkia has actually been making tablets longer than most of the new companies throwing their weight in the ring, on sight alone I’ll have to hold off any judgment until more specs are revealed.

  3. Sad that the only Android tablet that’s actually out is the Archos.

  4. Life outside of Asia? This won’t see life outside of China. This is another Chinese piece of crap. I lived in China for a half dozen years and I’ve seen the best of the best of counterfeit goods from cell phones to shoes. I bet none of you knew Ferrari made a cell phone with a TV antenna built-in that has a Chinese-only operating system. Well, you can get the same phone with any brand name on it that you like. BMW, Volvo, Nokia, or Sony? You name the brand and they can stick the name on anything. Inkia: another word for crap.

  5. Well, at least the bezel size is better than the iPad’s. That Apple POS looks like an oversized digital photo frame.
