AT&T will demonstrate Gigabit LTE on the Galaxy Note 8

0

Remember when the term “4G” became a huge buzzword in the mobile industry? Get ready for “5G” to do the same thing. AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile have already begun testing their gigabit networks. AT&T plans to pass the 1Gbos mark on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Carriers have mainly been showcasing these speeds on test devices. The Note 8 handling those speeds would be a big step in the right direction. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and X16 LTE modem are what makes it possible. If the test is a success, we could be well on our way to delectable 5G speeds.
