Galaxy S8 vs LG G6: Video Quality Comparison

0

We’ve been putting the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 up against each other in a variety of tests. First, we compared performance with a speed test. Then we compared the cameras with sample photos. Now, it’s time to look at the other half of the camera equation: video quality.

Both the Galaxy S8 and LG G6 can record videos in 4K UHD. However, to keep my computer from going up in flames, this video comparison was done in 1080p 30fps. The settings were as similar as I could get. Both cameras were in auto mode, tracking focus off, and video stabilization on. I also performed a test of the audio quality in the video.

But enough talking about video quality. Watch the video below to see with your own eyes.

As was the case with the photos, both of these phones do a great job. The Galaxy S8 seems to do better when switching between lighting conditions, the G6 has better audio quality. Which phone do you think has the best video quality? Vote in the poll below!
