The Moto Z2 Play may not have dual cameras

0

The Moto Z2 Force is expected to launch with dual-rear cameras, but it looks like the lesser sibling won’t don such traits. TechnoBuffalo’s leaked render comes through devoid of the double trouble on the rear.

Of course, we’re not exactly sure how much of a loss that is without knowing about the quality and function of the dual cameras on the other Moto Z2 phones, but we think it’s safe to say we’d rather have them than not.

Fret not, though, because the phone should be priced accordingly. The original Moto Z Play was a mid-ranger through and through, complete with a Snapdragon 625 chipset to drive that point home. It debuted at around $400, and we’d expect similar markings for the sequel.

As for other details confirmed by the renders, we can see that it’ll have that redesigned fingerprint sensor which should double as a home button, a slim metal frame, and those distinctive connection pins on the rear for attaching Moto Mods. We should be hearing more about this one as the summer months approach.
