0

Big Magenta has released its Q3 financial results, showing that the company has added 2 million new customers in the quarter. This marks the 14th consecutive quarter that the Un-Carrier has seen at least 1 million new customers. T-Mobile also saw a growth of 13% in “year-over-year growth” in regards to the company’s service revenue.

The Un-carrier strategy continues to be a winning formula for the Company. In the third quarter of 2016, T-Mobile added 2.0 million net customers, bringing its total customer count to more than 69 million. T-Mobile continues to take market share and attract customers from the competition with a differentiated brand and incredible network experience. This was the fourteenth consecutive quarter in which the Company has generated more than 1 million net customer additions.

The addition of 2 million new customers now brings T-Mobiles total number of customers to almost 70 million. This is huge for a company that was on the verge of disaster just a few years ago.

Additionally, the Q3 results have shown that T-Mobile is the industry-leader for the prepaid market after the company added over 850,000 new customers in the quarter. Looking forward to Q4, T-Mobile will continue to claw its way towards AT&T and Verizon, so we’ll have to see what the Un-Carrier has planned for the future to shake things up.
