OnePlus 3 sales paused in 24 countries due to shortages

0

OnePlus has had to announce that 24 countries — including 23 European countries and Hong Kong — will not be seeing the OnePlus 3 in regular demand. The pause will last for over a month, with OnePlus confirming the dates of August 9th through September 12th. If you place your order before August 9th, it will ship to you as normal.

OnePlus says while they expected high demand in Europe, certain factors — like the lack if invite system — caused sales to be “way better” than they anticipated. As such, they can’t quite keep up, and instead of buyers being hit with lengthy shipping estimates, they feel it’s better to halt sales until they can catch back up.

The full list of countries being affected by the move includes the following:

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus
  • Czech Republic
  • Estonia
  • France
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Luxembourg
  • Malta
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia
  • Spain
  • Hong Kong

Folks in those countries have another 5 days to get their order in before the gates close, and those who won’t be able to make it in time can be notified when they come back in stock. In the meantime, hopefully our OnePlus 3 review can help you confirm your decision to buy one once they’re back in stock.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.
