1st Gen Moto 360 seems to be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow

We assumed the latest and greatest smart watches would be first in line for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but it seems owners of one of the original premium smart watches are ahead of the pack. The 1st Gen Moto G seems to be getting a widespread rollout starting today.

The original Moto 360 doesn’t have a built-in feature to take advantage of that brand new Android Wear feature, but it’ll still get access to all the other great things the upgrade brings like Doze Mode, screen dimming and app permissions. The same update should be rolling out to the 2nd Gen Moto 360, though we haven’t heard many reports of folks actually receiving it just yet.

Those who have gotten the update said there’s no trick to getting it, so just be patient and you should have a notification before too long.
