As promised, AT&T is now selling the Samsung Galaxy View. It’s an 18.4-inch full HD tablet that serves 1 purpose: deliver up all the juicy video you can muster at a very respectable screen size. It can also be used for productivity nuts who simply need more screen real-estate for their apps.

Otherwise, it’s a pretty ordinary tablet. Inside is an Octa-Core Exynos 7580 chipset, 64GB of storage expandable via microSD, 2GB of RAM, and a 2.1 megapixel front camera that can shoot HD video. There’s also 4G LTE connectivity, and a 5,700mAh battery is enough to deliver 83 days of standby time and 8 hours of continuous usage. The device comes with a built-in handle for easy carrying, because trying to palm this thing would be quite the task.

AT&T has it for $600 full retail, $500 on a two-year contract or starting at $30 per month for 20 months on AT&T Next. Head here to buy one if you think you can make good use of this thing.
