My first smartphone had a whopping 3.2-inch display with a gorgeous 320 x 480 resolution. Five years later there is a smartphone on the market with a 5.5-inch display and 1440 x 2560 resolution. For reference, these are what those two resolutions look like next to each other. So what’s the point of this trip down memory lane? BIG WALLPAPERS!

It was only a matter of time before 1080p displays on smartphones were not good enough. The LG G3 was the first device to venture into the 1080p+ territory, and you can guarantee other phone makers will quickly follow suite. To prepare for the onslaught of pixels we have compiled six ultra HD wallpapers for your devices. We’ve provided a mix of 2K and 4K sizes for your viewing pleasure.

To get one of these wallpapers on your phone, tablet, or even PC, simply tap or click the download link underneath each image. Let us know which one is your favorite, and be sure to share a screenshot if you use one of these wallpapers!

    1. More like 2560×1600. Even phones have better screens then my laptop that I only purchased last year.
