Google ad reveals June launch for AT&T’s Sony Xperia Ion?

10

It looks like Google may have unleashed an ad campaign for the Sony Xperia ion prematurely, stealing AT&T’s thunder in the process. The handset, which was announced earlier this year at CES, has yet to be pegged with a release date by the carrier. The ad that has started to appear on Google when performing a search for the Xperia Ion wasn’t so coy. It reads “Come Exclusively to AT&T in June.” As always, we’ll wait for official confirmation, which should be coming soon from the sound of it.

  5. Yes I’d get this over HTC 1X and the GS3…

    1. why? could you be more specific, trying to decide..thanks

    2. Sarcasm…?

  6. I’ve had the sony x10 for awhile with att and am eager for my upgrade so
I can get my hands on this phone. Sony makes a well built phone in my
experience, whereas upon looking at a display htc one I thought it
pretty but not well put together. Not to mention the fact that you can’t
remove the battery on the htc one but there is no micro sd…you’re
stuck with 16gb. Too much like apple for me! I will look at the s3 once
it comes out, but have heard that it is similarly made poor. I will more
than likely pick up the ion as long as it seems durable…I rarely drop
my phone, but if I ever do I don’t want it to break right away.
