There have been few rumblings from the Verizon camp as CTIA kicks off this week, but could they have a few announcements of their own in store? A new listing for the HTC Droid Incredible 2 in Best Buy’s Mobile Genie has appeared, meaning the retail giant is gearing up for the ability to transfer data from your old device to a shiny new Incredible 2.
[Update]: A tipster of our own is suggesting we might not want to read too deeply into this pic, but any sign of the Incredible 2 is a good sign by us.

Awesome!
the merge was in best buy system and to this day still hasnt been released.
I work for Best Buy Mobile and that’s not our inventory system. That’s a snapshot of our Mobile Genie which transfers info from one phone to another. So basically we updated software on it and it now has the capability to transfer to that phone now. I wouldn’t read into that too much.
Difference is that the incredible s(2) is already out. And htc merge has just officially been announced for release.

the merge is actually just to the left of the droid incredible 2, should be time for some new phones to come out, and by new i mean dual core.
This should really be taken with a grain of salt. I’m a best buy mobile representative and i can tell you that, the shot above is of the mobile genie, more specifically the program on it that transfers contacts from one phone to another so it is not really “in the system” just the third party’s contact transferring system, another reason not to get to excited about this is because the ‘LG EnV touch 2 (Android-powered)’ is also listed in there listed like i typed
