Two New Motorola Phones Hit the Bluetooth SIG, May Be Android

1

Yesterday, we heard that Motorola would be bringing us 20 new Android handsets in 2010. We’ve already seen several of their phones pop up since the start of the year, but another pair just made their way to the Bluetooth SIG.

Motorola-Goldfinch

One of those phones is the Motorola Goldfinch 8208. The phone has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth 2.1, FM Radio with RDS, a 3-megapixel camera, and an ISDB-T receiver (used in Latin America and Japan, according to Unwired). It’s said that the phone will run Android, but which version still isn’t known.

Motorola-Bei-Hai

The other phone is the Motorola Bei Hai. It will be available in Asia (we’re thinking China because of its name) with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, a 5-megapixel camera, HD video recording capabilities and an HDMI port. As far as Android goes on this one? There’s no word on that yet, but it does look similar to the MT810 we reported on not too long ago.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Now everybody is releasing tiny phones, XD

I prefer big screens like 4.1 “XTREME”, but I think women will like these kind of phones.
