By The Samsung Galaxy Camera was released on AT&T this morning, but that shiny new device is being flanked by a couple of neat smartphones you’ll want to pay attention to. AT&T is launching the HTC One X+ and HTC One VX today, and both devices deserve some considerable attention on their respective wavelengths.
The HTC One X+ is a phone of firsts for the industry as it’s the only phone that features a combination of the 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. While those two points enough are alone for a mouthwatering package, 64GB of internal storage makes this thing very attractive to a lot of eyes.
The One X+ also features a 4.7 inch HD display, 1GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel 1080p HD camera with ImageSense, a 1.6 megapixel HD front-facing camera, NFC, and 4G LTE with HSPA+ to fall back on. For $200 I don’t see how this can be a bad investment for anyone finding themselves needing a new smartphone.
You can find the package in AT&T’s exclusive Carbon Black finish, and you’ll need to sign a new two-year contract if you want to get it for the aforementioned price. I HATE carrier branding, but at least they cleaned it up and lost the lettering.
Wasn´t the HTC One X+ sporting Tegra3 quadcore @ 1.7ghz ? or does ATT have a special HOX+ too ? :P
yer I was under the impression it was the same 1.7ghz tegra 3 in the Asus transformer infinity, and the snapdragon quad was in the HTC butterfly j (and varients)

With 64gb of int storage along with the fastest quad core processor this thing is a freaken beast. Too bad they didn’t add 2gigs of ram. This is a great phone on AT&T. I would buy this over the new 5 inch Droid from Verizon.
2gb ram would have made this near perfect for todays standards, unless it has something like a 1700mah battery.
definitely a typo, ATT and HTC’s own sites list it as using the tegra 3

It’s a Tegra3, everyone. You all should know by now Phandroid is notorious for “typos”. Just roll with it.
The HoX + does not have an S4 Pro cpu. Its the Tegra3 .

1 GB RAM + HTC Sense = not enough memory
Just got one for my wife. Pretty good phone. The default camera sharpness is horrible! Makes everything look blobby like a water color painting. I turned it down to -2 and its slightly better than my 4S camera. One x+ flares lights pretty bad though. Other than that everything is good and fast. Out of the box it uses 820MB/1GB which is concerning.
Already returned it for 4S. Got too hot and battery life was too short.
