Samsung just made karaoke night dangerously easy. The company’s latest 2025 Smart TVs now support Stingray Karaoke with a new twist: Your can use your smartphone as the mic! Users don’t need to bother with overcomplicated setups or extra gear. Just sing your way through pop hits with zero shame.

The Samsung Stingray karaoke TV setup works through SmartThings and doesn’t need a dedicated mic system. All users need to do is launch the Stingray app, scan a QR code, and they’re good to go. Their phones double up as microphones, complete with mixing. The sound plays through your TV speakers without lag, which should help you keep time with the song, even if your vocals can’t.

Users will be able to access a catalog of over 100,000 songs from 30+ languages. This includes everything from hip-hop to country to R&B. There are also weekly updates, curated playlists, and a song queue that holds up to 100 tracks at once.

This is part of Samsung’s Smart Hub upgrade with the Daily+ panel. Users can just head there, open the Stingray Karaoke app, and start singing immediately.

We should also point out that there’s also a promo. Buy any 2025 Samsung Smart TV and get six months of Stingray Karaoke free. Owners of 2023 and 2024 models get a one-month trial. For more information, head on over to the Stingray website.
