Just when a lot of major smartphone brands are teasing the return of slimmer phones with possibly smaller battery capacities, Vivo recently – and quietly – unveiled the new Y300 Pro+, which sets itself apart with its exceptionally large 7300 mAh battery. Priced at around $350 when converted, the handset packs some other impressive features.

Beyond its massive battery, the Y300 Pro+ comes with a large 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392×1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with a choice of either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, paired with storage options ranging from 128GB to a more sizeable 512GB. On the software front, the phone runs on Android with Vivo’s OriginOS 15, which includes pre-installed apps from Vivo and third-party software.

In addition to the 7300 mAh battery, there’s also support for 90W fast charging, which should come in pretty handy. Other specs include a dual camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and 2MP secondary camera, a 32MP front camera, and video recording at up to 4K resolution. One caveat though is that the phone isn’t available for Western markets, although we’re keeping our fingers crossed that Vivo decides to bring it to more regions.
