Logitech’s New $999 Streaming Camera comes with Wifi, 4K, and Smartphone Connectivity

If you’re after a high-powered streaming camera from a big-name brand, then Logitech’s got you covered – the company recently announced the launch of the Mevo Core, a 4K-capable streaming camera which packs quite a ton of handy features, and is designed for better versatility than your run-of-the-mill webcam.

Available for a considerably-expensive $999 price tag, the Logitech Mevo Core comes with compatibility for the Mevo Multicam app which serves as an easy way to manage content production on the go. interestingly, the camera allows users to select a lens and adjust elements like aperture and focus. There’s also a built-in 3-mic array with spatial audio processing and noise cancellation, in addition to direct streaming on YouTube or Twitch with Wifi 6E support.

The camera can also last up to six hours on a single charge, making it ideal for most recording or streaming sessions. Additionally, users can opt to use the camera’s HDMI output and built-in NDI and SRT integration for more advanced workflows. The Mevo Core is available at Mevo.com, B&H Photo Video and Amazon in the US and Canada.
