Vivo V30 Pro announced with an affordable price tag

0

Last year, Vivo announced the Vivo V30 Lite. This is an affordable mid-range handset. The company then followed it up with the regular Vivo V30, and now it looks like they have announced another variant. This comes in the form of the Vivo V30 Pro.

Unlike the base Vivo V30, the Pro model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. This is not the 9000 series of flagship chipsets, but it will be powerful enough to get the job done and then some. It will be offered in 8GB or 12GB RAM variants, and will come with 256-512GB of storage.

The Vivo V30 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a peak brightness of 2,800 nits. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W FlashCharge.

As for the cameras, here’s where it gets interesting. The handset packs a triple camera setup. They are all 50MP sensors where it looks like they have gotten some help from ZEISS. There is a ZEISS Professional Portrait Camera, which is accompanied by a 50MP ultra wide-angle camera, and a 50MP VCS True Color main camera.

There are also a bunch of ZEISS powered software features like ZEISS Style Portrait, Natural Color, and Border Watermark.

All in all, it’s a pretty decent upper mid-range phone. The handset is priced at around $570 and will be available in Bloom White, Waving Aqua, Lush Green, and Noble Black. The phone will also launch in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Taiwan. Vivo does not mention North American availability so don’t hold your breath.
