Fans of the Sid Meier simulation/strategy games can now get their hands on the latest title to make its debut on mobile devices, as “Sid Meier’s Railroads!” has finally launched for Android. The game can be purchased on Google Play for compatible handsets and tablets – as per the game’s official description:
“In this captivating mix of model train set and railway management simulator, lay tracks and optimise routes to establish lucrative networks of cities and industries, transporting passengers, raw materials and goods across continents.
Grow profits through efficiency, innovation, and shrewd business decisions as you acquire valuable patents, trade stocks, and build or buy industries. Compete with world leaders and industrial titans to achieve the ultimate goal — becoming the greatest railroad tycoon of the age!”
The game is published by Feral Interactive, which was also responsible for porting over several console games to mobile devices, like the impressive port of GRID Autosport. As for pricing, gamers can get their hands on Sid Meier’s Railroads! for $12.99, and it doesn’t look like the game will come with additional in-app purchases, at least for the time being.
