Nanoleaf debuts Matter-compatible smart lighting products

0

Nanoleaf, well-known for its unique-looking wall-mounted smart lights, has expanded its catalog with new Matter-compatible offerings at CES 2023. It has taken the wraps off five new products: Nanoleaf 4D TV smarter kit, Sense+ Controls, Skylight, and Essentials Bulbs & Lightstrips. All of these products work with Matter and Apple Home. Let’s have detailed look at what each of these brings to the table.

Nanoleaf 4D

Nanoleaf 4D TV smarter kit is all about taking the immersive TV viewing experience to the next level. It has a Screen Mirror Camera, a 5M Smart Addressable Lightstrip, and everything else you need to set it up. It syncs all your smart home lights with the content you are watching on the TV.

You can set the camera up either at the top or bottom of your TV. The lightstrip comes with snap-on brackets and adhesives for easy installation. There are four Screen Mirror modes to choose from and 50 addressable zones on the Lighstrip. It is the Sync+ technology that does all the magic which not only enables screen mirroring with the TV but also syncs all smart lighting in your house. The kit is available in 55”-65” and 70”-80” length options with sales beginning Q2 2023.

Sense+ Controls and Nala assistant

Sense+ Controls line includes the hardwired Smart Light Switch, Wireless Smart Light Switch, and Nala Learning Bridge. You will get built-in motion and ambient lighting sensors with each of these products. These smartwatches work with the assistant Nala to learn your usage habits and daily routines. This allows them to switch on/off lights, change colors, and adjust brightness automatically as per your preference.

Another good thing is Nala Learning Bridge can also double up as a Thread Border Router and work as a color-changing night light. These products will be available for purchase in Q3 2023.

Nanoleaf Skylight

Nanoleaf Skylight is a modular ceiling smart lighting solution. Just like its wall solutions, these can be arranged in different ways for a unique look. The user also has complete control over the coverage area. These RGBW LED panels are square-shaped which you can rearrange to create different designs.

These have all customization features like setting Schedules and adjusting color brightness, temperatures, and colors themselves. There is WiFi support along with Matter compatibility. You will be able to get your hands on Skylight in Q3 2023.

Essential Bulbs and Lightstrips

Nanoleaf has released its refreshed lineup of Essential bulbs and lightstrips for 2023. It includes bulbs (A19, BR30, GU10, and a Recessed Downlight) and Lightstrip for everyday lighting purposes. All these products are compatible with Matter out of the box. Even if you have any of the existing Essential products, Nanoleaf will release a software update to add Matter support later this year.
