Samsung Galaxy S21 owners can now get their hands on the Android 13 beta

0

We’re not sure when Android 13 will be released for Samsung’s flagship phones, but the good news for Galaxy S21 owners is that Samsung has made available the One UI 5.0 beta over in the UK and South Korea.

For those unfamiliar, One UI 5.0 will be the latest update to Samsung’s smartphones and it is based on the Android 13 update which Google had recently released for its Pixel 6 smartphones. While this isn’t the final public release yet, the fact that Samsung has already made the beta available suggests that the company is working on pushing out the final release.

It also means that users who are interested in Android 13 and can’t wait for the public release will be able to check out the beta to see what kind of changes Samsung will be bringing to the table (in addition to the changes in Android 13). Users who are interested can download the Samsung Members app on their phone and log into it using their Samsung account and register their device for the beta.

The Galaxy S21 is actually the second Samsung smartphone to be included in the beta, with the first being the Galaxy S22. We imagine that more flagship handsets will be added to the list eventually, but for now, Galaxy S21 and S22 users will be able to check out the upcoming One UI 5.0 update.
