AT&T has removed the last LG smartphone from its website

0

LG used to be a pretty popular brand when it came to phones even back in the day like with the LG Chocolate series. The company continued their popularity when the smartphone era came about, but unfortunately, over the years they started to lose market share to the competition like Samsung.

Then in 2021, the company announced that they would be exiting the smartphone market, but now it looks like we have truly reached the end because it looks like AT&T has removed the last remaining LG smartphone from its website. This means that as far as getting an LG phone through one of the major US carriers, you’re out of luck as other carriers do not appear to be selling them anymore (Verizon’s website still lists LG phones but we get an error message when trying to click on any of the models).

If you’re an LG fan, you could probably still get your hands on one from online retailers such as Amazon, but seeing as the company is no longer planning on making new phones, it might not be a good idea, especially if you plan on keeping your phone for an extended period of time.

It is a pity to see LG no longer making phones. The company was set to introduce a phone with a rollable display back in 2021, but that did not come to pass.
