Just yesterday, the first renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 were leaked online. If you’re less curious about the Fold 4 and are more keen on its flippable sibling, then you’ll be pleased to learn that @OnLeaks has teamed up with 91mobiles for fresh renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

If you’re looking at the renders and wondering what’s the difference, to be honest we can’t really tell either. Externally it appears that the Flip 4 will be sporting the same design as its predecessor. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing since we can’t really think of anything to complain about in terms of design, but it would have been nice to see an update anyway.

There have been rumors suggesting that the external display on the Flip 4 could be marginally larger, but if that’s the case, it’s a bit hard to tell from these renders. Plus the rumors suggested that the change would be marginal anyway, so it would be hard to tell unless we’re comparing them side-by-side.

As for hardware, more likely than not it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It is expected to continue to feature the use of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and based on the renders, it looks like it will continue using a dual camera setup on the back.

There’s no official word on availability, but if we had to guess, it’ll probably be around August. There is some potential good news because last we heard, the Flip 4 might be cheaper than the Flip 3 and could come with slightly faster charging.
