5 Great Cases for the Samsung Galaxy A53

0

Samsung’s new Galaxy A53 is turning out to be one of 2022’s best value-for-money handsets, offering good specs, decent performance, and regular software updates at a price tag that’s almost less than half of what you’d see on most flagship smartphones. It also comes with a great-looking physical design courtesy of Samsung, with a sleek matte finish on top of a smooth polycarbonate frame.

Still, if you’d like to protect your device and keep it in good shape for as long as possible, then one of the best ways to do so is with a case. We’ve put together a quick list of different cases to choose from, all made by quality brands with quality materials. Let’s get started!

Spigen Liquid Air

First on this list is the Spigen Liquid Air case. Spigen is one of the most well-known brands when it comes to quality phone cases, and their Liquid Air case offers a good deal of protection for the Galaxy A53. The case is made entirely out of TPU, which is a flexible material that still maintains a level of rigidity (unlike silicone) making it great for shock absorption. The Liquid Air case features a matte black look to it, and has a ridged design all over the back and edges for added grip. Overall, the case is lightweight, and doesn’t add a lot of bulk to your phone.

Spigen Tough Armor

Our second entry in this list also comes from Spigen, although it kicks things up a notch. The Spigen Tough Armor case provides excellent protection by combining an inner TPU layer, and an external hard shell that covers the outer part of the case. There are also foam inserts on the inner sides of the TPU portion of the case, so your phone sits secure and is kept safe from drops and bumps. The outer shell also comes with a kickstand, which is a nicely-added bonus. The case adds a bit of thickness to the A53 however, but if you’re after a well-built case, then the Tough Armor is a great choice.

Ghostek Covert Case

Ghostek’s Covert series cases have been gaining a lot of popularity due to their sleek-looking design, translucent styling, and protection. The Covert case for the Galaxy A53 offers protection by surrounding the sides of your phone with TPU edges that absorb impact, and provide additional grip for less drops. The sides of the cases are a bit thick, but if you’re after good drop protection, this shouldn’t be much of an issue. The case also features a transparent hard polycarbonate back, so you can still see your phone’s design while it’s safe inside the case.

Caseology Athlex

Caseology’s Athlex case series combines a grippy exterior surface with an inner TPU layer for twice the protection, while still keeping a slim design overall. The case has a nice-looking two-tone design, and offers a decent amount of thickness to protect the back and sides of your phone. The sides of the case are also designed to give you additional grip when handling the phone, and also form a nicely-raised lip around the screen of your Galaxy A53 to lessen the likelihood of damage to its sides and corners.

If you’re after something a bit more rugged, then you might want to check out the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle series case for the Galaxy A53. SUPCASE is known for making tough and durable cases made from protective materials, and their newest one for the A53 is no slouch when it comes to overall protection. The Unicorn Beetle case features a sturdy two-part design which comes with a polycarbonate frame that goes around your phone’s screen, and a super-thick and sturdy outer layer. The outer shell is made from a combination of TPU and polycarbonate, with a matte design and built-in kickstand.
