How to find your phone number on Android

0

We’re sure we’ve all experienced this once or twice in our lives, where we get a new SIM card as part of a new plan and it comes with a new number. Or maybe when we travel overseas and we get a local SIM card with a local number that people in the country can reach us on.

The only problem is that since this is a brand new number, we might not have committed it to our memory just yet, so what happens when someone asks for your number and you can’t recall it off the top of your head?

Short of carrying the card that the SIM card came with that usually has the number on the back of it, there’s actually another way that you can pull up your phone number on Android.

Find your phone number on Android

  1. Swipe down from the top of your screen once (or twice, depending on your phone)
  2. Tap the Settings icon
  3. Scroll down until you see “About phone”
  4. Tap on it
  5. You should now see your device name, your Google account associated with the phone, and your phone number

If your phone happens to have more than one SIM card slot, you will see the numbers associated with either SIM card listed as well, so it’s up to you which number you want to give.

There are other ways of finding your number, such as calling someone else and your number should show up, but sometimes this isn’t always possible especially if you’re trying to fill up a form online, so this tip should save you some of that hassle.
