Fast charge your smartphone with Cirtek’s 20W USB-C wall charger

0

These days, we’re noticing a somewhat disturbing trend amongst smartphone makers where they are slowly but surely starting to ditch the chargers that are typically bundled with their phones.

In all fairness, over the years we’ve accumulated many chargers and with USB-A and USB-C chargers becoming pretty much the standard, it’s not hard to find a charger that you can use to charge your phone with.

But the problem with chargers from back in the day is that charging tech back then was still relatively slow, meaning that instead of taking an hour to charge your phone, you could end up spending 2-3 hours, if not longer. This is where most smartphone makers get you, where they’ll be happy to sell you their fast chargers, but it comes at a premium.

The good news is that maybe you don’t have to pay a hefty price for fast charging. In fact, the good folks over at Cirtek are selling a 20W USB-C wall charger that’s small enough to fit in your pocket if you wish.

Tiny form factor

Back in the day, smartphone chargers would be kind of dig. They weren’t as bulky as laptop chargers, but they definitely weren’t what you would consider to be “pocketable”. With the Cirtek 20W USB-C charger, you can clearly see how small it is in the photos.

This means that if you work outside a lot, you can easily pop the charger into your pocket, backpack, or a pouch and not worry about it weighing you down or adding unnecessary bulk. According to Cirtek, its charger is 50% smaller compared to Apple’s own iPhone 12 USB-C charger, which in all fairness is already relatively small, but if you can go smaller and more portable, we’re not complaining!

Fast charging speeds

With the Cirtek 20W charger, the company is offering users charging speeds faster than some other third-party chargers out there. While it might not necessarily be as fast as first-party chargers, it is a fraction of the price. At $14.99, it is already pretty affordable, but Cirtek is actually offering a discount for its 20W fast charger, now 50% off, bringing its price down to just $9.99.

That’s a pretty affordable price tag and at $9.99, you can easily buy yourself a couple of them and keep some of them at work or even different areas of your house so you don’t need to keep plugging and unplugging the charger whenever you need it.

It offers 3x charging speeds compared to regular 5W charging adapters, which means that for iPhone users, it will go from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes, and 40 minutes for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. There is also support for QC3.0 and PD3.0.

According to Cirtek, the phones and accessories compatible with its charger include:

  • For iPhone 12 / 12 Mini / 12 Pro / 12 Pro Max / iPhone 11 / 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max / iPhone SE (2nd generation) / XS / XS Max / XR / X / iPhone 8 / 8 Plus
  • For Samsung Galaxy S20 / S10 / S10+ / S10e / S9 / S9+ / S8 / S8+
  • For Google Pixel 4 / 4 XL / 3 / 3 XL / 2 / 2 XL
  • For LG G5 G6 G7 V20 V30 V40 V50 ThinQ, ect
  • For iPad Pro 12.9-inch 4th / 3rd / 2nd / 1st generation; iPad Pro 11-inch 2nd / 1st generation; iPad Pro 10.5-inch
  • For iPad Air 4th / 3rd generation
  • For iPad 8th / 7th generation; iPad mini 5th generation
  • For AirPods, Apple Watch and More

Safety first

As a lot of companies like to warn their customers, it’s best to buy first-party accessories or those that have been officially licensed. We admit there is some peace of mind knowing that you’re buying something that’s confirmed to work, but with Cirtek’s 20W fast charger, the company claims that it is made out of high-grade fireproof PC materials.

They also use technology that helps to distribute voltage, and it has also been ETL, FCC, CE, and ROHS certificated. Ultimately this means that you can charge your devices safely knowing that there are safety measures put into place to prevent it from overheating or short-circuiting.

Conclusion

At a price tag $9.99 after the 50% discount, we have to say that it really doesn’t get any more better value for money than this. The small form factor and the fast charging speeds combined with the super cheap price tag really makes this a deal that’s too good to pass up on.
