Back in August, Google introduced a new series of Nest security devices, including the Nest Cam, Nest Cam with Floodlight and Nest Doorbell. However, until now, the Nest Cam and Nest Cam with Floodlight were not available for purchase, leaving everyone wondering when they would finally launch. The wait is finally over, as Google announced that both products can now be purchased from Google’s online storefront.

As a refresher, the indoor Nest Cam is available in four different colors, is priced at $100, and can capture videos at 1080p resolution using “enhanced HDR”. According to Google, the Nest Cam “has 10 times more machine learning power than the previous generation” which allows for the ability to detect people, animals, and vehicles in an effort to send you notifications only when you need them. Google is also include three hours of event history, and the ability to create Activity Zones, all without needing to sign up for another subscription service.

But if you want to take things up a notch, you can pair the Nest Cam with a Nest Aware subscription to get 30 days of event video history and Familiar Face Detection. This new Nest Cam is priced at just $100 and is available for purchase today.

If you’ve been waiting for a robust Nest Cam option for monitoring the outdoors, the Nest Cam with Floodlight is the way to go. It offers intelligent alerts instead of solely relying on motion sensors. Thanks to the power of Nest and the Google Home app, you can create routines while also customizing different aspects including the brightness and how long the lights stay on for. And with the microphones that are built into the Nest Cam, you can use this to try and scare away that rodent that keeps getting into the garbage or to let the delivery driver know that you’ll be right there.

Because the Nest Cam with Floodlight is wired, you never have to worry about changing out the batteries or having the camera run out of juice at the worst time possible. Plus, the floodlights offer a brightness of up to 2400 lumens, that are “bright enough to illuminate your patio or front yard in the middle of the night.”

The Nest Cam with Floodlight is also available for purchase today, and is priced at $279.99 from the Google Store.
