Oppo Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition officially unveiled

0

Earlier this year, Oppo announced a brand new phone in the form of the Oppo Find X3 Pro. It seems that the company isn’t quite ready to move on from that handset yet because over in China, Oppo has since announced a new variant of the handset that they’re calling the Photographer Edition.

Actually, Oppo and Kodak announced a partnership earlier this month, so despite the lack of Kodak branding on the handset, this looks like it could be it. It also comes on the heels of a couple of leaks, so it looks like Oppo is trying to stay ahead of the rumors.

The handset’s design is similar to the original Find X3 Pro, but the main difference is its colorway where it features a silver top and a black bottom. This is apparently designed to mimic the look of the Kodak 35 camera, where the top portion is a matte silver finish, while the bottom is made from leather.

It is also expected to feature a protective case made from the same materials, just in case you don’t want to get any scratches on the actual phone itself. It also looks like it will be bundled in a box that resembles the box the Kodak 35 came in back in the day. There also appears to be a wrist strap that you might typically find on cameras.

As for its specs, Oppo doesn’t mention anything about the hardware so there is a good chance it will use the same hardware as the Find X3 Pro, and that the changes will just be for the exterior. There’s no word on pricing but it is expected to be officially launched on the 16th of September so maybe we’ll have more details then.
