One of the most interesting phone makers throughout the year so far has been Nubia with its RedMagic 6 series of phones. The company has already released the RedMagic 6, 6 Pro and 6S, but is gearing up to introduce the RedMagic 6S Pro. Over the past few weeks, the device has been teased several times, with the latest teaser offering even more information as to what we’ll be seeing (via GSMArena).

The first teaser shows off a warship off of a beach with a fan facing downwards, complete with RGB. This is to represent the RGB cooling fan and new ICE 7.0 design which Red Magic is claiming will provide up to 200% better performance. Additionally, the 6S Pro is expected to feature a semi-translucent back panel, allowing the RGB lights to shine through.

In terms of battery life, the 6S Pro will feature a 4,500mAh cell, but that’s not the fun part. RedMagic has also teased that the 6S Pro will be able to charge the battery using a 120W fast charger. This will get you from 0-100% in less than 20 minutes, and there’s even going to be an air cooling system for the charger.

Other teasers for the RedMagic 6S Pro have given us more of a glimpse at what’s to come in terms of specs and the overall design. Here’s what we know so far:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+
  • 165Hz Refresh Rate
  • Triple Camera Setup
  • 500Hz touch-sensitive triggers
  • Rear-mounted touch-sensitive re-mappable buttons

Additionally, the phone has recently passed through TENAA certifications, revealing that the Snapdragon 888+ will be paired with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM. There’s also a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a 1080p resolution, along with an 8MP selfie camera.

Nubia is set to unveil the RedMagic 6S Pro on Monday, September 6, where we will learn much more about this upcoming gaming-centric smartphone.
