Xiaomi Redmi 10 leak shows a familiar design and 50MP main camera

Although Xiaomi is preparing to announce the Mi Mix 4 and Mi Pad 5, another Xiaomi phone has leaked in its entirety. Appearing on the Singaporean retailer Courts, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 made its debut before the listing was removed. Thanks to Ishan Agarwal and TechBoiler, we now know what the Redmi 10 will have to offer whenever it’s officially released.

The Redmi 10 will feature a design similar to that of the Mi 11 Ultra, with a vertical camera array consisting of four sensors along with an LED flash. The headlining camera is said to be a 50MP lens, along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and dual 2MP lenses (macro and depth).

Powering the device will be the MediaTek Helio G88 which was recently introduced, and this will be paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of base storage. As for the display, there’s a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rear and a center-placed hole-punch cutout for the 8MP selfie camera. Xiaomi will also be including a fingerprint scanner mounted in the power button.

Additionally, we’ll be seeing a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and MIUI 12 based on Android 11. As for colors, the listing revealed the Redmi 10 will be available in gray, white, and blue. Before the listing was pulled, the price was listed at SDG249, which works out to around $185.

Compared to the Redmi 9 from last year, Xiaomi looks to be providing quite a few upgrades with the Redmi 10. The display will offer a faster refresh rate, an updated processor, and the upgraded camera are just some of the changes coming to one of Xiaomi’s next devices.

Much of Xiaomi’s focus is likely on tomorrow’s big announcement. But don’t be surprised if the Redmi 10 makes an appearance in the very near future.
