It’s been two weeks since the Pixel Buds A-Series was announced, and now you can finally go pick them up for yourself. If you’re lucky enough to have a Best Buy in your area, you can head in and grab them today. Otherwise, you’ll have to rely on ordering from the Google Store or you can have Best Buy ship these to you.
The Pixel Buds A-Series features practically the same design as the Pixel Buds that were released last year. These come in two different colors with a Clearly White option and a new Dark Olive color. Regardless of which version you decide on, the case included is that matte white color with a soft finish that looks like an egg.
You won’t find Active Noise Cancellation, but that’s just fine. Google is bringing its Adaptive Sound features over to the Pixel Buds A-Series. This uses the microphones in the earbuds to analyze the sound levels of your surroundings. Then, the sound is automatically adjusted to help mask the crying babies or the lawnmower running outside your window.
Battery life remains the same as the Pixel Buds, as these are rated for around five hours. There are also quick charging capabilities as 15 minutes will provide up to three hours of use, but the included case provides up to a total of 24 hours of usage. Unfortunately, you won’t find wireless charging, as Google had to cut corners in certain areas to reach the $99 price point.
Like we said, the Pixel Buds A-Series are available starting today, and you can waltz into your local Best Buy and grab them if they are in stock.
