The Roborock H7 doubles as a vacuum or mop and is coming this July

Roborock is the maker of some pretty awesome and useful smart vacuum’s, and the company is back at it again with the new Roborock H7. This new vacuum, the Roborock H7, is the company’s second cordless stick vacuum, and has a hidden feature up its sleeve that you likely weren’t expecting. With the H7, not only will you be able to vacuum every corner of your home with ease, but there’s also an optional mopping attachment that is being made available.

Compared to the Roborock H6, the H7 is slightly heavier, weighing 3.2 pounds, but that’s partly due to the larger 500mL dust bin. The H6’s dustbin measured in at just 400mL, you’ll be able to clean for even longer before needing to empty the dust bin into the trash. The suction power has also been improved, rated at 160AW compared to the 140AW power rating from the last generation.

As for battery life, it’s more of the same with the Roborock H7, as the vacuum is rated for up to 90 minutes in eco-mode. That number gets cut in half when in “normal” mode, down to 45 minutes, and when in Max mode, you’re down to just 8 minutes. As for filtration, Roborock is stating that you will be able to capture up to 99.99% of particulates in your home, as small as 0.3 microns. So not only will you be able to vacuum more stuff up, but you’ll also do so while improving the air quality inside your home.

The useful 1.3-inch OLED display on the handle of the H7 returns, showing you how much battery is left, along with what mode you are currently using. It’s a much better implementation than what we see from traditional vacuums with those regular switches that usually reside on the vacuum head and aren’t always easy to see.

When it’s time to recharge, you’ll be able to use the new Magbase Easy Store system. This gives you a single place to put your Roborock H7 and any accessories, so everything will be out of the way while you aren’t using the H7 and need to recharge it.

The Roborock H7 will launch in July here in the U.S. and will be available for $500.
