Dramatic Samsung Galaxy S20 & Galaxy S20+ discounts offer $200 in savings

After reports that smartphone sales are significantly lower than usual due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Samsung has devised to dramatically lower the prices on its 2020 flagship models. The company is offering a $200 discount on both the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy S20+, dropping their respective prices to $799.99 and $999.99!

When Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy S20 lineup for 2020, our main criticism of the phones was their prices. While there’s no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy S20 and its larger sibling pack in quite a bit of new tech this year (check out our Samsung Galaxy S20+ review), Samsung was planning to make a significant profit margin by pricing its cheapest new flagship model at $999.99 and the larger S20+ at $1,199.99.

As of right now, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is still sitting at $1,399.99. There’s no indication that Samsung will be dropping its price any time soon, but the company may be forced to make a change if the coronavirus continues to spread, forcing people to reconsider what they will be spending their money on over the coming months.

If you’re planning to pick up a Samsung Galaxy S20 at their newly discounted prices, don’t forget to pick up a case for the phone as well.
