The LG V60 is the newest device in LG’s lineup and it’s poised to take on the Samsung Galaxy S20+ when it hits the market in the coming weeks. While LG has struggled to gain traction among consumers the past few years, its V-series smartphones have been extremely popular among audiophiles and those who love capturing video with their smartphones.

The LG V60 may not have all the bells and whistles that come with the Galaxy S20 Ultra, but it’s definitely competitive when matched up against the regular Galaxy S20+. The main camera features a 64MP sensor with an f/1.8, 27mm lens, dual-pixel PDAF and optical image stabilization. It also sports a 13MP sensors with an f/1.9, 12mm ultra-wide lens and a ToF 3D depth sensor. Unfortunately, LG decided to forego a telephoto camera and go with digital zoom using its main sensor, but the camera on the back are able to capture 8K video along with the usual 4K@60fps.

The LG V60’s front-facing camera is a 10MP paired with an f/1.9, 30mm lens capable of recording 4K video at 30fps.

Take a look at the embedded video and image gallery below to get a feel for how the cameras on the LG V60 perform. D you think the LG V60 has what it takes to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S20+?
