According to popular rumors, it has been suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is expected to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. We’re sure that there are many who are probably not hoping for it to be true, but the bad news is that as we approach the launch of the Note 10, it’s starting to look like those rumors could come true after all.
This is based on several leaks where based on one of those leaks shared by Roland Quandt on Twitter, it shows an alleged accessory for the Note 10 – a 3.5mm headphone jack to USB-C dongle. This is similar to the dongles we’ve seen other companies include with their phones, so it doesn’t come as a complete surprise to see it.
The other leak comes from MobileFun in which they have managed to get their hands on dummy units of the Note 10, where judging from what we can see, the phone seems to lack a headphone jack. Of course, none of this can be confirmed as 100% true for now, but the Note 10 is set for a launch on the 7th of August, so we should have all the official details then.

The removal of the headphone jack does seem to be inevitable, although Samsung is one of the few remaining companies who have been holding out the longest, but it looks like that is set to change with the Note 10, and presumably future Samsung handsets, so maybe it’s time to start getting used to it.
