Xiaomi Mi Band 4 set for June 11 launch with color display

If you’re in the market for a fitness tracker, there are probably dozens of models out there for you to choose from. But if there is one brand that constantly comes to mind, it would be Xiaomi, simply because the company’s Mi Band series of fitness trackers are probably some of the cheapest trackers in the market today.

In fact, the company has recently sent out teasers for an event that they will be hosting on the 11th of June in which it appears that the Mi Band 4 will be launching. Details about the Mi Band 4 are scarce at this point in time, but judging from the teaser poster, it has been suggested that the fitness tracker could be the first in its series to come with a color display.

It’s actually a rather nice evolution because, for those who are unfamiliar, the first Mi Band did not even have a display. Some of the rumored specs for the Mi Band 4 include support for NFC to facilitate contactless payments and also a potentially larger battery, although to be fair the previous-gen Mi Band had a pretty decent battery life already.

There is also no word on pricing, but hopefully, it won’t be too much more expensive than the Mi Band 3 which is currently available on Amazon for $30.
