The Sandstone White OnePlus 5T is the Stormtrooper phone we always wanted

0

Earlier this week, speculation began ramping up that OnePlus would be releasing a new color variant of the OnePlus 5T after the company posted a teaser video on YouTube. Thankfully, the wait is over to see what OnePlus has been working on, as the company has unveiled the all-new Sandstone White version of the OnePlus 5T.

Spec-wise, this device is identical to the standard version which was announced at the end of 2017, meaning that you’ll get the new 6-inch AMOLED display with a 2:1 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 835 chipset can be found powering the device, and has been coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage.

OnePlus has also included a dual-rear camera setup on the rear with a primary 16MP sensor and a secondary 20MP sensor. The 5T also features a 3,300mAh battery which takes advantage of OnePlus’ Dash Charge charging capabilities.

The big appeal to this new Sandstone White version is the fact that it looks extremely similar to the “Silky White” version of the OnePlus One which was released more than 3 years ago. However, the difference here is that this new device combines the sexiness of the original OnePlus One, while adding the grip of the Sandstone variant which OnePlus used for years before switching to aluminum bodies.

If you’re going to want to pick one of these up for yourself, you’re going to want to act quickly on January 9th. The company will begin selling this new Sandstone White OnePlus 5T on January 9th at 10 AM EST, but you’ll want to move quickly as this is just a limited edition and will only be in stock “while supplies last”.
