Two leaked photos showcase Sony’s new ultra-narrow bezel Xperia

The bezels on Sony’s Xperia devices have become almost as ubiquitous to the company as Nokia’s early indestructible phones that gave the Finnish company its tough reputation. But a new leak spotted by GizChina suggests that Sony is finally going with the flow and will adapt to the new bezel-less trend in smartphones. (Sorry, bezel lovers.)

Sony’s latest Xperia devices will feature ultra-narrow bezels housing a 5.7-inch 18:9 screen with a 4K resolution. That’s all we know about them so far, but Sony has already confirmed they’ll feature Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 845 processor and likely 6GB of RAM when the phone’s debut next year.

A peek at the back of the phones showcases a very shiny back that appears to take some inspiration from the design of the Essential PH-1 in just how shiny it is. We’ll probably see more from these twin beauties next year at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
