Recent rumors have pegged the Nokia 9’s RAM capacity at 4GB, but a new benchmark could suggest we’ll get a variant double that amount. A GeekBench listing for the phone is showing an 8GB model.
While we’re always going to take these things with a grain of salt, Nokia seemingly has a desire to compete in the Chinese market, and we know there’s a big ongoing arms race in that country for smartphone specs. For the premium market there, anything less than 6GB is considered a joke, and if Nokia wants to position the Nokia 9 as a top competitor, well, they can’t quite afford to be awarded that label.
Other supposed Nokia 9 specs include a Snapdragon 835 chipset, a 5.3-inch display, and dual 13MP cameras. Check out some of the first photos proving its existence right here.
