The little brother to the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, the Moto Z Play, was unveiled at IFA 2016 and looks to be a pretty reliable device for those not looking to spend more than $500 on a device. The Z Play offers the same modular functionality of its brethren while keeping the 3.5mm headphone jack and offering a decent set of mid-range specs. Best of all, you can now purchase this device from Motorola.
Moto Z Play Specs:
Motorola is offering the Moto Z Play through its own website for $450 outright, or you can go through Motorola’s financing to get the device for $17 per month. Currently, the website is showing that the device is still in its pre-order stage for some, so you’ll have to be patient if you want to jump on board with this bad boy. It’s also worth noting that the Z Play will be getting the update to Android 7.0 Nougat sometime in 2017, so you won’t have to worry about not getting the latest version of Android.
In the meantime, if you want to get a better idea of whether you purchase the Z Play, be sure to check out Phandroid’s hands-on coverage of the device from IFA 2016.
