Is the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 the worst Android phone of all time?
A few years back, we gave you guys our picks for the top 10 Worst Android Phones of All Time. It was a fun little post, one we felt like was worth revisiting, especially in light of recent developments involving Samsung’s latest flagship and it going up in smoke (literally). A huge blunder on Samsung’s part, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is one of the few Android devices we’ve ever seen recalled — then officially cancelled — making it a rare case.
Needless to say, you shouldn’t be forced into a game of Russian roulette when buying a new smartphone, but in spite all of this, we’re still not entirely sure the phone deserves to wind up on our illustrious Worst Android Phones list. Unlike most of those devices, many of which were simply trying to cash-in on some sort of gimmick or suffered from bugs/poor support, the Note 7 was actually a damn good phone. You know, when it wasn’t bursting into flames.
It’s a shame we wont ever have the chance to buy the Note 7 — although we’re not entirely sure we want to anymore — because it really was (at least on paper) one of the better Android devices out there, arguably the best. But oh, how the mighty have fallen…
All things considered, we wanted you guys to weigh in on the matter. Do you think the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 deserves the title of the worst Android smartphone of all time?
